SDE II (Software Development Engineer in Test)

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDE II) with 3-8 years of experience to join our Database Server team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong background in quality assurance for database systems. Please note: this hiring is for our testing environment. What you will bring. Strong SQL Expertise: must have In-depth knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL , with hands-on experience using SQL client tools. Operating Systems Proficiency: Solid experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems. Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, REST, or Bash . A Bachelor's or Master's degree. An excellent communicator who can think outside the box and take initiative. A self-starter who is passionate about building high-quality, reliable systems. What will give you an edge. QA Best Practices: A proven track record in QA processes, including test planning, scripting, execution, and bug tracking. Performance Testing: Experience with stress and load testing, including analyzing results and preparing detailed reports. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database systems, preferably PostgreSQL or Oracle.
