About the role
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP Data Migration, and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end data migration activities using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, along with a solid understanding of data governance, master data management, and deployment during SAP implementation and rollout projects. Mandatory SkillsetSAP Data Migration (Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit)SAP Data Governance / SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation and rollout projects.Perform data extraction, profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration.Configure and execute migration objects using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.Work extensively with Data Migration Business Objects (DMBO) and Data Migration Object Lists (DMOL).Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the migration lifecycle.Coordinate migration testing, mock loads, cutover planning, Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-production support.Collaborate with business stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to understand data requirements.Define and implement data governance standards and best practices.Troubleshoot migration issues and provide effective solutions during project execution.Prepare migration documentation, reconciliation reports, and status updates. Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration and Data Management.Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, deployment, and rollout projects.Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.Strong understanding of DMBO (Data Migration Business Objects) and DMOL (Data Migration Object Lists).Experience in data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration execution.Hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and enterprise Data Governance processes.Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA master data and transactional data models.Experience supporting migration testing, deployment, Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-Go-Live support.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional functional and technical teams. Preferred SkillsExperience in multiple SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation or rollout projects.Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.Experience working in Agile project environments.SAP S/4HANA or SAP Data Migration certification is an added advantage.
