About the role
Strong full-stack engineering with hands-on Python and / or Node/TypeScript, plus React on the frontend; sound grasp of object-oriented and modular design for maintainable systems. Practical, production-grade experience with Kubernetes and Docker - containerising, deploying, scaling and operating microservices. Test-Driven Development (TDD) as a default discipline, with mutation testing to prove test quality, plus end-to-end and integration test automation. Trunk-based development and CI/CD with a continuous-delivery mindset ? small commits, frequent merges, feature flags. GitOps with Argo CD (or equivalent) and progressive delivery (canary / blue-green, automated rollback) for safe, frequent production change. Experience building and maintaining production-grade, cloud-native applications ? distributed, fault-tolerant, and designed to scale up and down. Solid experience with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) ? schema design, query optimisation and data modelling ? and with RESTful and event-driven integration. Working knowledge of observability and operability (metrics, logging, tracing) and secure-by-default engineering (SAST/DAST awareness). Comfort using agentic AI tooling to accelerate development, with sound judgment on where human review and engineering rigour remain essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and infrastructure-as-code. Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative product mindset, and a drive to keep current with cloud-native and agentic-AI practice
