Design & Estimation Engineer

Design Engineer Fire Fighting Systems Location: Pune (Phursungi) Experience: 1-3 Years Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with expertise in Fire Fighting Systems to join our Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating fire protection systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure EPC projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler, Water Spray, Deluge, Foam, Gas Suppression, and Fire Alarm Systems. Prepare AutoCAD drawings, P&IDs, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layouts, and technical documentation. Prepare BOQ, Material Take-Off (MTO), equipment data sheets, and support estimation activities. Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure designs comply with NFPA , IS Standards , and project specifications. Coordinate with clients, consultants, procurement, project execution, and commissioning teams. Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support during project execution. Ensure timely submission of design documents with high quality and accuracy. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Fire Fighting System Design. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D). Experience in BOQ preparation, P&ID, GA Drawings, and MTO. Good understanding of NFPA, IS Codes, and fire protection engineering. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
