Role Description We're looking for a React Native Developer for a contract role (hybrid, based in Kanpur/Lucknow, with partial work-from-home). You'll design and build engaging mobile experiences for iOS and Android, implement gamification features, contribute to backend development, and collaborate closely with our team to deliver a seamless, high-quality product that inspires young learners. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native , JavaScript , and Redux.js Contribute to both front-end and back-end development, including API integrations Implement gamification features to boost engagement in a kid-friendly learning environment Conduct basic testing to ensure app stability and performance Optimize application performance and maintain code quality through reviews Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in mobile and edtech Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver an outstanding user experience Required Skills & Qualifications 1-3 years of proven experience in React Native , JavaScript , TypeScript , CSS , and Tailwind Basic backend development skills and experience with API integration Ability to perform basic testing and debugging Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization and best practices Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Familiarity with gamification techniques and developing apps for children Bonus: Experience in educational technology and integrating AI features in mobile apps Benefits: Competitive salary package Hands-on experience with a real-world app and backend Direct mentorship from experienced developers and startup leaders Experience Letter & portfolio-worthy projects Desire to work in a rapidly growing and ever-changing startup ESOP benefits for long-term contributors after 1 year
