Engineer – Underground Structure

Technical Requirements Performing the design of Underground structures i.e. Station, Shaft, Cut & Cover structures, TBM Tunnels. Calculation of retaining structures such as Berliner walls, micro pile walls, joint or secant piles, diaphragm walls, other types of retaining walls. Develop detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for Underground Structures, cross-sections, support systems, and lining structures/segments. Conduct geotechnical assessments and incorporate ground support requirements into designs Perform design calculations related to stability, Buoyancy, Embedment, crack width and other verification of underground Structures Well verse with TBM tunnel Design Review geological and geotechnical data to support design decisions Planning and interpreting instrumentation and monitoring data. Proficiency in geotechnical software like PLAXIS 2D, Rocscience Proficiency in Structural Software like Staad, Robot, Oasis Applying design codes such as Eurocodes and AASHTO.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. * 4+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
