· Development of conceptual and detailed design of dry utility systems in accordance with standards. · Develop designs including alignments, profiles, sections and trench design in coordination. · Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles · Prepare engineering drawings, 2D and 3D designs of utilities and volumetric analysis · Contribute to quality assurance/quality control processes. · Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis and resolution in Civil3D.
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. · 2+ years of experience in municipal and/or transportation infrastructure projects. · Ability to design dry utility systems · Experience with underground infrastructure design (water, sanitary, storm, drainage) will be an asset. · Working knowledge of CAD platforms (Civil 3D & AutoCAD) will be an asset. · Working knowledge of BIM process, development of design and review process over Autodesk construction cloud (ACC) will be an asset. · Strong communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams. · High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work · Ability to learn on the job and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
