As a Network Engineer, the responsibility would be to design, implement, and maintain the BGP, OSPF, and basic MPLS networks. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the network infrastructure. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. -Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in network engineering roles. -Robust understanding of BGP and OSPF routing protocols, including route redistribution, route filtering, and path selection. -Experience with configuring and troubleshooting MPLS networks, including LDP and MPLS VPNs. -Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs. -Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. -Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, JNCIP, etc.) are a plus. KEY ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES Design, implement, and maintain BGP routing policies to ensure optimal traffic routing and network performance. Configure and troubleshoot OSPF routing protocols across our network infrastructure. Implement and manage basic MPLS services, including LDP and MPLS VPNs. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability. Collaborate with other teams to implement network security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards. Participate in network capacity planning and expansion projects to support business growth. Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
