Automation Tester - Java/Selenium

As an Automation Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products in a fast-paced Agile environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright - Writing efficient, reusable, and scalable test scripts for web applications - Performing functional, regression, integration, and UI testing - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies - Analyzing requirements and creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA and ensuring timely resolution - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing - Performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured - Improving test coverage, reducing manual effort, and enhancing automation efficiency - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Mentoring junior testers and providing technical guidance when needed Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing - Strong programming skills in Java - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver - Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred) - Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber - BDD) - Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) - Experience with API testing and automation - Familiarity with version control tools such as Git Join us in this exciting opportunity to showcase your automation testing skills and contribute towards building high-quality software products.
