Job Location: India Global Delivery Center / Regional Hub Experience: 5 - 12 Years Employment Type: Full Time Industry: Multinational FMCG Function: Development Services | BI Infrastructure | Analytics | Digital Operations Job Summary We are looking for an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Platform Administrator / Senior Developer with strong expertise in Spotfire platform administration, installation, configuration, upgrades, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing TIBCO Spotfire Server, Web Player, Node Manager, Information Designer, Spotfire Library, and data connectivity, along with exposure to Windows VMs, Azure/GCP infrastructure, Oracle databases, and automation using PowerShell. Key Responsibilities TIBCO Spotfire Platform Administration Primary Focus - Administer the end-to-end TIBCO Spotfire platform, including Spotfire Server, Web Player, and Node Manager. - Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Spotfire Server and client components in multi-tier environments. - Configure and manage LDAP / Active Directory integration and SSO using SAML or Kerberos. - Manage Spotfire Library security, licenses, user access, groups, and folder-level permissions. - Configure and optimize Web Player, Automation Services, Resource Pools, and scheduling. - Monitor CPU and RAM utilization and perform scheduled updates to support high-traffic dashboards. - Manage Spotfire database schemas, including health checks, cleanup activities, and version migrations. - Troubleshoot platform issues by analyzing Spotfire Server, Node Manager, and Web Player logs. - Perform performance tuning and resolve platform bottlenecks, concurrency, and availability issues. - Manage Information Designer, Data Sources, Information Links, and data connectivity configurations. - Manage Spotfire Library content, including cleanup of unused DXP files and version control. - Support Spotfire Statistics Services, TERR, and Python Service configurations. Windows VM & Cloud Infrastructure Secondary Focus - Manage Spotfire infrastructure hosted on Windows Virtual Machines in Azure or GCP. - Monitor VM health, disk utilization, network connectivity, and overall cluster performance. - Coordinate with Cloud Operations teams for VM patching, backup/restore, and Disaster Recovery drills. - Support manual or automated scaling of Node Managers based on business and reporting workloads. - Use PowerShell and Command Line utilities to automate administrative tasks and service restarts. - Work with cloud teams to support Spotfire platform migrations from on-premises environments to hyperscalers. Oracle Database & Data Connectivity Secondary Focus - Configure and troubleshoot connectivity between Spotfire and Oracle databases. - Work with Information Links, Data Connections, JDBC/ODBC drivers, and data source configurations. - Optimize SQL queries and Information Links to improve data retrieval performance. - Collaborate with DBAs to monitor long-running queries originating from Spotfire. - Implement caching and performance optimization strategies where applicable. - Support connectivity to cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery. Performance, Governance & Senior-Level Responsibilities - Implement monitoring dashboards to track Spotfire system health, performance, and user concurrency. - Define and enforce governance standards for dashboard deployment, library organization, and data usage. - Lead architecture and planning for Spotfire migration to Azure/GCP hyperscaler environments. - Define enterprise standards for platform security, folder structures, deployment processes, and performance benchmarks. - Mentor junior administrators and developers on Spotfire administration and troubleshooting. - Conduct infrastructure reviews to ensure platform scalability for global, multi-market environments. - Drive adoption of current Spotfire capabilities, including Spotfire Mods and Actions, in collaboration with development teams. .
