Job Description All about the role: We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to guide and grow our frontend development team. In this role, you ll be responsible for both technical leadership and people management, driving the long-term direction of our web platforms. You ll play a key role in shaping our frontend architecture, owning the design system, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the team. A Typical Day Lead the team: Manage and mentor a group of frontend engineers, supporting their growth, performance, and well-being. Own the design system: Define, evolve, and maintain our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across products. Set technical direction: Guide architectural decisions, advocate for best practices, and lead key technical initiatives. Drive collaboration: Act as the primary interface between the frontend team and product, design, and backend teams. Uphold quality: Promote clean, maintainable code through code reviews, pairing, and process improvements. Foster a culture of learning: Encourage innovation, experimentation, and knowledge sharing within the team. Who You Are 10+ years of frontend development experience. 2+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience. Expert-level proficiency in Next.js , React , TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling. Strong experience of state management frameworks . Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization including Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, and server-side rendering strategies Experience working with Headless CMS platforms (preferably Optimizely CMS or Sanity CMS ), including data modeling and integration. Experience building r esponsive , accessible and cross browser compatible web applications Experience with developing reusable component libraries or design systems is a strong plus. Experience with .NET C# is a plus. A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills in English and attention to detail. A track record of mentoring and developing engineers , with a supportive and communicative leadership style. Where you ll be: This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India .
