Electronics Engineering Internship

As an intern at Gati Drives in Ahmedabad, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Understanding and working with various SMPS topologies such as Flyback, forward, half-bridge, full-bridge, and LLC resonant converters. - Designing AC-DC Converters with a focus on achieving 90%+ efficiency targets within the 100W-500W range. - Implementing Power Factor Correction techniques including CCM, DCM, and CrCM PFC topologies using both active and passive techniques. - Engaging in Magnetics Design by designing transformers/inductors, selecting cores, and utilizing winding techniques. - Working on Control Systems by designing loops, compensation networks, and conducting stability analysis. - Handling PCB Layout tasks according to power electronics best practices and implementing EMI/EMC mitigation strategies. - Utilizing tools such as Altium/KiCAD, LTspice/PSIM, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers for various tasks.
