SAP FICO Consultant AMS Project (8 Years Experience) Job DescriptionJob Title SAP FICO Consultant Application Management Support (AMS) Experience8+ Years Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 8+ years of experience in Application Management Support (AMS) projects. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing SAP Finance and Controlling solutions while ensuring seamless business operations. The role involves incident management, problem resolution, change requests, business process improvements, and coordination with business stakeholders across global environments. Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Finance (FI)Provide end-to-end support for SAP FI modules:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Bank AccountingNew GL and Parallel LedgersHandle production support issues, service requests, and root cause analysis.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.Configure and maintain organizational structures, document types, posting keys, field status variants, and fiscal year variants.SAP Controlling (CO)Support Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing, and COPA.Assist business users during planning, budgeting, and cost allocation processes.Support settlement processes, assessments, distributions, and profitability reporting.AMS Support ActivitiesResolve tickets in accordance with SLA commitments.Perform issue analysis and provide permanent fixes.Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and enhancement requests.Participate in daily support meetings and status reporting.Coordinate with technical teams for developments and interfaces.Conduct impact analysis for system changes and enhancements.Integration & InterfacesWork closely with:SAP MMSAP SDSAP PPSAP WM/EWMSAP TreasurySupport integration issues and cross-functional process improvements.Validate and test interface-related financial postings.Testing & DocumentationPrepare Functional Specifications (FS) for developments.Perform Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT support.Create and maintain configuration documents, process flows, and KT documents.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with global business users and leadership teams.Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.Provide regular updates on incidents, enhancements, and project status.Required SkillsFunctional SkillsStrong expertise in:GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank AccountingCCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPAMonth-End and Year-End ClosingIntercompany TransactionsRevenue RecognitionTax ConfigurationAutomatic Payment Program (APP)Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.Knowledge of FSCM, Credit Management, and Group Reporting is an advantage.AMS SkillsIncident ManagementProblem ManagementChange ManagementServiceNow/JIRA/Remedy Ticket HandlingSLA and KPI MonitoringRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)Technical UnderstandingAbility to prepare Functional Specifications.Knowledge of IDOCs, BAPIs, Interfaces, LSMW, and Data Migration.Basic debugging and ABAP understanding.Desired ExperienceMinimum 8 years of SAP FICO experience with experience in AMS support projects.Experience supporting global or multi-country rollouts.Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.Strong understanding of accounting principles and business processes. .
