About the role
As the Head of Analytics at our Series A portfolio company, your role will be crucial in driving impactful insights and shaping the future of consumer experiences through data-driven decision-making. You will lead a high-performing team, design analytics frameworks, and provide insights to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. - Oversee the development of advanced analytical models (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI) to solve complex business problems. - Implement state-of-the-art analytics tools and methodologies for efficient data exploration and visualization. - Drive the adoption of a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization. - Partner with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into key decision-making processes. - Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of data analysts, business intelligence professionals, and data scientists. - Provide thought leadership in leveraging AI/ML to develop innovative, data-driven products and solutions. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the organization's analytics capabilities continuously. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus. - 6-10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a proven track record in consumer technology, e-commerce, or similar industries. - Strong proficiency in data analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical methodologies. - Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL). - Experience in integrating AI/ML models into real-world applications. - Proven experience in building and leading high-performing analytics teams. - Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
