Mainframe Engineer

Role Overview: As a Mainframe Engineer at Elgebra, you will be responsible for working on-site in Gurugram/Noida in a full-time capacity. Your primary focus will be on the development, maintenance, and optimization of mainframe-based applications and services. You will design, code, test, and debug mainframe programs to ensure performance, stability, and security in production environments. Your role will involve analyzing business and technical requirements, translating them into scalable solutions, and integrating mainframe components with other systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to documentation, participate in code reviews, support deployments, and assist in modernizing legacy components as needed.
