About the role
Required Qualifications & Skills M.E./M.Tech/MS in Acoustics, Sound & Vibration, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 5 - 7 years of experience in Technical Acoustics, Vibroacoustics, or Noise Control Engineering. Strong knowledge of Acoustic Modelling, Duct Acoustics, Structural Acoustics, Sound Radiation, Transmission Loss, and Source Characterization. Experience in MATLAB-based acoustic modelling and analytical methods. Exposure to acoustic simulation and modelling tools such as Actran, Virtual Lab Acoustics, or equivalent. Experience in experimental validation and correlation of acoustic models. Exposure to rotating machinery, compressors, or reciprocating machinery is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to lead technical investigations and drive product development initiatives.
