Cad Engineer

Key Responsibilities Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Create manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation. Upload, release, and manage design data, revisions, and engineering changes (ECO/ECR) inside PLM/ERP systems Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams. Assist in prototype development, testing, and design validation. Preferred candidate profile Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 80% aggregate marks. 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Experience in creating and managing engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation. Exposure to PLM/ERP systems for design data management, revision control, and engineering change management (ECO/ECR). Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, limits & fits, and drawing interpretation. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting, and welding). Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Basic understanding of engineering materials, mechanical components, and design principles. Apply basic engineering knowledge to optimize designs for weight reduction, cost, and manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA)product improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Ability to prepare and update engineering drawings and BOMs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
