As a Data Engineer and Analyst at Lilly, you will be responsible for providing integrated consulting, data analytics, and engineering solutions for business problems and opportunities. Your role will involve collaborating with different functions to develop clear business objectives and project plans, highlighting opportunities for growth and optimization. You will also be required to handle large business transformation and change management initiatives, ensuring that the quality and timeliness of deliverables meet expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Work with various functions to improve productivity across the organization and enhance our data-driven decision-making capabilities - Focus on data structuring, storage, extraction, and analysis using analytics and reporting tools to detect patterns, trends, and relationships in data sets - Utilize technology and tools such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query), visualization software (Power BI), data mining, statistical modeling, and data cleaning and preparation skills - Write code in languages like R, Python, SAS, SQL, and VBA - Understand key statistical concepts like regressions and modeling - Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and build expertise in Lilly's data architecture to maximize the value of data sources - Support the automation of data processes and dashboards Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of strong data engineering and analytics experience - Experience in support function analytics such as HR Analytics and Finance Analytics - Preferably have experience within the pharma industry - Strong educational background with a degree in sciences or quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Sciences) from a Tier-I institute; MBA or post-graduation preferred In addition to the technical skills, you should possess strong behavioral skills including a strong work ethic, personal motivation, good presentation skills, interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management skills, and be a dynamic and result-oriented team player.
