About the role
Open to locations below onlyKenya, India, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Ukraine, Austria We are building a high-performance blockchain operating system that provides high throughput without sacrificing decentralization or security. Our project is a full-stack solution that lets anyone deploy a Fuel chain using any configuration they would like (Rollup on Ethereum, Sovereign chain, Appchain, etc.). Currently, our focus is to launch an Ethereum rollup to help scale Ethereum beyond its current capacity.We are looking for an Experienced Solidity Engineer to expand our team, and help to build a secure and stable Rollup OS. Your goal is to help us to develop the infrastructure that allows Fuel Rollup OS to integrate with EVM and Cosmos networks in a trust-minimizable way. Helping us to find, spec and implement the best paths.Our ideal candidate knows how to build from the ground up, can learn anything needed, and understands that the most important things on a team are communication, accountability, and trustworthiness. Responsibilities:Write good specifications about the architecture that needs to be doneTurn specifications into code Solidity and SwayWrite extensive unit and integration tests for the features developed Requirements:5+ years of experience as a software engineer3+ years of experience with Solidity/Vyper/YulExtensive knowledge of the Ethereum virtual machine or blockchain virtual machinesExtensive knowledge of the current landscape of bridging solutionsNative level proficiency in written and oral EnglishPrior experience working remotely in a globally distributed team Bonus:Experience with SwayExperience working with Rust (or C++)Experience ZK and Risc0Experience working with embedded systemsExperience developing or designing P2P distributed systemsExperience with blockchain and rollup technologiesExperience with financial systems or other high security servicesConsuming and contributing to open source codebases Compensation & PackageBase salary + equity (token allocation) This role is Remote - EMEA or APAC .
