Hiring: Senior Data Acquisition Engineer Cybersecurity Data Engineering Location: [Location] | Experience: 812 Years A leading Big 4 consulting firm is looking for a Senior Data Acquisition Engineer to build and optimize large-scale data ingestion and analytics platforms supporting cybersecurity use cases. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. Integrate data from enterprise and external sources into cloud-based data platforms. Build and maintain real-time and batch data processing solutions. Automate deployments using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enable security analytics, threat detection, and reporting. Required Skills 812 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering. Strong expertise in Python, SQL , and scripting (PowerShell/Bash). Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Event Hubs, AKS , and related Azure services. Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, Git, Linux , and cloud-native architectures. Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, data warehousing, data modeling, and large-scale ETL pipelines . Exposure to SIEM/SOAR, cybersecurity data, or security analytics is highly preferred. Preferred Azure, Data Engineering, or Cybersecurity certifications. Experience in consulting, financial services, or other regulated industries.
