Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Smallworld Developer with strong expertise across the Smallworld architecture and hands-on experience in modern deployment environments. The role requires deep technical proficiency in Magik programming, application customization, system upgrades, and web-based deployments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and customize applications using Magik within the Smallworld platform Work across the full Smallworld architecture, ensuring stable and scalable implementations Configure and deploy Smallworld applications in Kubernetes-based environments Set up and manage Smallworld web applications Perform product customization aligned with business requirements Lead and execute upgrades from Smallworld 4.x to 5.x Integrate and manage spatial data workflows using FME Work with Oracle databases for schema design, performance tuning, and data integrity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end delivery, testing, and deployment Required Skills Strong programming expertise in Magik Deep understanding of Smallworld architecture and deployment models Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments Hands-on experience with Smallworld 4.x to 5.x migration Practical exposure to FME Strong knowledge of Oracle database management and optimization
