Role Description The Information Technology Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum. This role involves providing day-to-day technical support for computers, printers, and related devices, including installation, configuration, and basic maintenance. The Information Technology Assistant will handle troubleshooting of software and hardware issues, assist with network connectivity problems, and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed. Responsibilities also include monitoring system performance, documenting support requests, maintaining an inventory of IT equipment, and helping ensure secure and reliable operation of classroom technology. The role requires regular interaction with learners and staff to resolve technical queries and support smooth delivery of training programs. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Information Technology to manage daily IT operations and user assistance.Candidates should possess skills in Printer Support and Troubleshooting to maintain devices and resolve hardware and software issues.Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux), office productivity tools, and networking fundamentals is beneficial.Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms.Ability to work on-site full time in Trivandrum and collaborate with a diverse team in an educational environment.A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred. .
