Last year, we saw a record number of customers accessing E-PIC, and we are excited about our upcoming initiatives aimed at further elevating the customer experience. Our engineering team is granted autonomy and full ownership of product features, fostering a cross-disciplinary environment that includes expertise in design, development, quality assurance, and cloud infrastructure. The team embraces Agile methodologies, a DevOps culture, and Continuous Delivery practices. We are looking for someone who can make an impactful contribution in designing and building out our data visualisation and reporting tool. As we migrate from our legacy JavaScript application to React, the successful candidate will be expected to complete spikes and work full-stack, implementing back-end, front-end, and infrastructure as code changes. To develop a deeper understanding of the product, it's essential to work closely with team members and learn directly from their experiences. Work with technologies including React and Java. Contribute to the migration from our legacy JavaScript application to React. Contribute to backend development by designing and implementing APIs using the Spring Framework. Help establish a high-quality engineering pipeline, utilising Agile methodologies to ensure predictable, repeatable, and reliable releases. Own solutions end-to-end and embrace a DevOps culture. Mentor junior engineers, ensuring code quality and standards across the team, and act as a focus for code reviews and continuous improvement. Proven experience in commercial software engineering, delivering both front-end and server-side applications. Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Strong skills in React and Java. Experience with the Spring Framework, RESTful services, and REST APIs. Experience working in Agile teams and a genuine interest in DevOps practices. Exposure to CI/CD, AWS, and Docker. Experience engineering software releases for cloud deployment Experience with Scala, Spark, EMR, Kubernetes, Airflow and Terraform. Strong knowledge of software architecture and design.
