As part of our continued transformation, we are investing in Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service to build scalable, composable, and cloud-native commerce solutions that enhance customer experience, increase business agility, and support the delivery of modern digital journeys across our platforms. The team is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of Elseviers eCommerce platform across storefront, integration, and extensibility layers. This includes building modern composable storefront experiences, developing full-stack integrations, and extending platform capabilities through Adobe App Builder applications and services. The team operates with an API-first, cloud-native engineering mindset and is committed to delivering solutions that meet high standards for quality, performance, security, and maintainability. About the Role:- We are seeking a Software Engineer II (SWE II) to contribute to the development and evolution of Elseviers eCommerce platform on Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service. The role will span frontend development, full-stack integration, and App Builder-based extensibility, with a particular focus on building modern composable storefront experiences using React. The role will also involve developing App Builder applications, extensions, and integrations using Node.js, npm, and cloud-native development patterns. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in contemporary frontend engineering, full-stack development, API-first architecture, and cloud-based integration patterns.
