About the role
Summary The Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer will lead the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure, focusing on integrating data from various enterprise systems to create an intelligent data ecosystem. Main Responsibilities Design and implement automated data integration pipelines for enterprise systems.Develop data models for multiple business domains.Ensure data governance and optimize pipeline performance.Prepare datasets for BI and AI/ML models.Produce technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer. Key Requirements 7+ years experience in data engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).Strong skills in Python and SQL.Experience with Azure Functions and Apache Kafka.Expertise with Docker Containers and data modeling. Nice to Have Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and Salesforce data integration.Knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub workflows.Experience with event-driven architecture.
