Python Automation Engineer - Labview

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust automation scripts in Python for hardware and software testing. Design and implement LabVIEW-based test systems for data acquisition, control, and measurement. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define and implement test requirements. Integrate instruments and equipment (e. g. , oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) into automated test environments. Build and manage automated test frameworks for validation, regression, and performance testing. Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and identify root causes of failures. Support the development of custom test fixtures and hardware interfaces . Document system architectures, test procedures, and user guides. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field. 4 +years of professional experience in Python scripting for automation and testing. Proficiency in LabVIEW (NI CLAD/CLD certification is a plus). Experience in test system integration including DAQ, GPIB, USB, or Ethernet communication. Solid understanding of electronics and measurement principles. Experience working with NI hardware (e. g. , PXI, cDAQ) is preferred. Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
