Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Test Engineer with strong expertise in advanced testing methodologies, system integration, and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on experience in test automation and modern testing tools This role requires the ability to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable software systems by driving end-to-end validation, collaborating closely with development teams, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and overall product quality across the software lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience Technical Expertise .

BE in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical / Computer Science

Strong expertise in software testing lifecycle (STLC) and quality processes

Hands-on experience in functional, reliability, and performance testing

Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (or equivalent), including workflow and process management

Hands-on experience in Azure Test Plan- to create/ maintain test cases, test report in dashboard for management

Proven ability in defect analysis and root cause identification

Experience with system integration testing (embedded + software systems)

Strong scripting skills in Java or C# or Python for test automation

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as: Modbus, HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Profibus, TCP/IP

Familiarity with tools/platforms: FDT-DTM, AMS, AMS SNAP-ON

Additional Advantage:

ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher)

Primary Responsibilities: Analyze requirements, design test strategies, and prepare detailed test reports

Perform end-to-end testing from an end-user perspective

Execute and monitor functional, performance, scalability, stress, and load testing

Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution

Develop and maintain automated test scripts (both Black and white box) and improve test efficiency

Ensure accurate test documentation, traceability, and quality metrics tracking

Drive continuous improvements in test processes and quality standards
