About the role
About the internship: Work Mode: Remote Stipend: 12,000- 15,000 per month (based on skills and project assessment) About the role: The selected intern will build an industry-grade robotics simulation using ROS 2, Gazebo, autonomous navigation, and computer vision. No physical hardware development is required. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Create a realistic hospital environment in Gazebo. 2. Design a mobile robot using URDF/SDF. 3. Simulate LiDAR, camera, IMU, wheel encoders, and battery sensors. 4. Implement mapping using SLAM Toolbox. 5. Configure autonomous navigation using Nav2. 6. Develop room-to-room medicine delivery workflows. 7. Implement static and dynamic obstacle avoidance. 8. Add room identification using QR codes or computer vision techniques. 9. Implement delivery confirmation, battery monitoring, and return-to-charging functionality. 10. Write clean, well-structured source code and maintain proper documentation. 11. Create step-by-step explanations suitable for student learning. 12. Record or support the creation of project demonstrations and training content. 13. Upload, maintain, and version-control the complete project on GitHub. A realistic hospital simulation environment. 4. A demonstration of autonomous navigation and medicine delivery. 5. A comprehensive installation and execution guide. 6. Complete project documentation.
