Assistant Vice President/Vice President - Product - Digital Payments - FinTech

You are applying for a senior Product leadership role with a fast-growing digital payments platform in the merchant acquiring and payment infrastructure space. As the AVP/VP - Product, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and scale of key digital payments products. Your expertise in payment ecosystems, including merchant acceptance technologies and payment processing infrastructure, will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for digital payment solutions. - Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and scale. - Drive development of payment products such as Tap-on-Phone, SoftPOS, tokenization platforms, and payment aggregation services. - Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and release plans. - Work closely with banks, payment networks, and ecosystem partners for integrations and regulatory compliance. - Lead cross-functional initiatives across technology, operations, and business teams. - Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to enhance product positioning. - Monitor product performance metrics and continuously improve functionality and user experience. Qualification Required: - 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or digital banking products. - Experience building or managing products in areas such as merchant acquiring, payment gateways/aggregation, SoftPOS/Tap-on-Phone, tokenization, and payment switching infrastructure. - Strong understanding of card networks, acquiring & issuing flows, and real-time payment systems. - Familiarity with PCI-DSS, RBI payment regulations, and tokenization frameworks. - Working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, encryption standards, and mobile-first payment platforms. - Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
