Job Description IT Support Intern Position: IT Support Intern Department: Information Technology (IT) Location: Lucknow Duration 3 to 6 Months (Extendable based on performance) Stipend: As per company policy Job Summary: We are looking for an IT Support Intern to join our IT team. The intern will assist in providing technical support to remote users. This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate IT infrastructure, remote server management, networking, data backup, and end-user support. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level IT support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install and configure Operating Systems and standard business applications. Assist in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Assist with remote server monitoring, basic server administration, and routine health checks. Learn and assist in server backup and restoration processes. Perform and monitor data backup activities to ensure business continuity. Provide remote IT support to users working from different office locations and remote sites. Assist in network troubleshooting, LAN/WAN connectivity checks, and basic network administration. Participate in site visits when required for IT setup, troubleshooting, or support activities. Required Skills: Technical Skills Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems. Understanding of computer hardware and peripherals. Basic networking concepts (IP Address, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN). Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365. Basic troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices. Interest in learning server administration, backup management, and IT infrastructure support. Soft Skills Good communication skills. Problem-solving ability. Customer service mindset. Ability to work independently and travel for site support when required. Eligibility Pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, or related field. Basic understanding of IT support and computer systems.
