We at Coforge are hiring Senior Golang / TypeScript Engineer (#21223) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable backend systems and AI-powered platforms on AWS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build backend services, shared experiences, and scalable workflows.

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring high quality through unit and integration testing.

• Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to long-term system reliability improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering and REST API development.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience with Golang.

• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

• Strong knowledge of software design principles including Domain Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal Architecture, Design Patterns, and testing practices.

• 3+ years of experience building applications on AWS and working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.

• 3+ years of experience working with NoSQL or relational databases (RDBMS).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and secure coding practices.

• Ability to independently design scalable backend systems and guide technical implementation.

• Proven experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and driving technical discussions.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced Agile environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building AI or Machine Learning applications.

• Experience with Temporal.

• Experience with DevOps practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
