As a Software Developer, Product, your role involves designing and implementing product features, resolving product defects, and innovating elegant solutions for life-sciences IRT challenges. You will be responsible for understanding individual product requirements for future product release development and innovation. Additionally, you will need to be conversant across front and back-end development to make modifications and enhancements across all aspects of the system. Your day-to-day interactions will involve collaborating with designers, project managers, and testers on application usability, features, and performance. It will be essential to interpret wireframes and requirements documents into sound technical solutions and work on projects from product requirements to launch. This includes tasks such as code review, unit testing, testing, and deployment. Furthermore, documenting your work thoroughly to adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures, Audit Requirements, peer training, and peer code review will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Lastly, you are expected to evangelize emerging technologies and integrate them into the product suite. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement product features - Resolve product defects - Innovate solutions for life-sciences IRT challenges - Understand individual product requirements for future development - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and testers - Interpret wireframes and requirements documents - Work on projects from requirements to launch - Document work thoroughly to adhere to company standards - Evangelize emerging technologies Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in system design and web application development - Strong experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS - Proficiency in Visual Studio 2012 and above - Hands-on experience with MVC framework and database-driven ASP.NET applications - Knowledge of REST web services using C# .NET, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ - Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, jQuery, Kendo UI - Ability to use unit testing tools and embrace test-driven development - Proficiency in debugging and profiling ASP.NET applications - Experience with OO design patterns and Agile/Scrum methodologies - Familiarity with SCM platforms like Subversion, TFS - Secure application development, mobile app development, and user experience design experience are a plus - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, communication, and listening skills Please note that all job offers will be based on your location, skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
