About the role
Position Title: IIOT Support Executive Location: Chakan / Pune Plant / Corporate: Corporate Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digitalization IIOT Support Officer to join our dynamic team in the automotive sector. This role involves supporting the implementation and maintenance of Digitalization under Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) initiatives across our manufacturing operations. The candidate will work closely with IIOT System operations teams and other IT department team. As a key member under our digital transformation efforts, person will be responsible for not only troubleshooting and resolving technical issues but also providing training and support to users. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about digitalization and possesses a good understanding on IIOT, instrumentation, PLC management and its programming. with the ability to adapt modern technologies and acquire learning around it. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyse IIOT opportunities within the organization. Provide technical support and guidance during the implementation of IIOT initiatives and solutions. Evaluate, implement, and monitor IIOT systems as per company guidelines and initiatives at different production lines in plants along with focus on continuous improvements for the enhancement of IIOT system. Conduct training sessions for colleagues to support effective utilization of IIOT systems. Assist in the development of IIOT strategies that align with overall business objectives. Support in analysing business requirements towards IIOT or Industry 4.0 related automation in the organization. Discuss key issues / ideas with seniors and support in applying changes and/or implementing updated configuration. Candidates Qualification: Bachelors degree in engineering, IT, Computer science, Instrumentation, or related fields. Exposure to IIOT, digitalization, or related roles. A good understanding of IIOT or Industry 4.0 technologies and systems integration along with skills in data analytics will be an added advantage. Experience or knowledge of working on SCADA, ERP. Good knowledge of PLC programming under various PLC makes like Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, Hitachi etc. alongwith understanding of ladder logic. Knowledge on IIOT system documentation and diagrams. Good problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to collaborate with cross functional team. Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies. Good analytical skills with attention-to-detail skills IT tools/applications and associated protocols knowledge under following: MS Office, PLC Programming, AI/ML algorithms (optional) Microsoft SQL database understanding and knowledge of writing database queries. (a) Communications protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, Ethernet/MODBUS, PLC, and HMI. .
