About the role
About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Automation Testing Interns/Freshers with a keen interest in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Enterprise Application Testing. This internship offers hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, one of the leading codeless test automation platforms, providing exposure to real-world testing projects and industry-standard QA practices. Key Responsibilities Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca Support testing activities across web, desktop, API, and enterprise applications Participate in requirement analysis and test case design discussions Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools Execute regression, functional, and integration testing activities Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to ensure software quality Learn and apply test automation best practices and testing methodologies Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and test evidence Ideal Candidate Profile Technical Skills Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC Knowledge of Manual Testing principles including test case creation and defect lifecycle Familiarity with web applications, databases, and APIs Understanding of object-oriented concepts and software applications Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and testing Exposure to automation testing concepts and tools Understanding of Agile development methodologies Preferred (Nice to Have) Exposure to Tricentis Tosca or any automation testing tool (Selenium, Playwright, UFT, etc.) Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman Understanding of test automation frameworks and reusable test design Awareness of SAP, Salesforce, or enterprise application testing Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good communication and documentation skills Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly Team player with a collaborative approach Self-motivated and proactive attitude Educational Qualification Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field Certifications in Software Testing or Tricentis Tosca Foundation Level will be an added advantage What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca Test Automation Platform Exposure to enterprise-grade software testing projects Understanding of automation testing lifecycle and best practices Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments Mentorship from experienced QA and Automation professionals Opportunity to work on live automation projects and proof-of-concept assignments Potential pathway to full-time employment based on performance
