Consultant / Senior Consultant Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant / Senior Consultant - Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team based in Chennai / Hyderabad. This role is crucial for developing and enhancing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications that meet our evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at both front-end (Angular) and back-end (Java) development, possess exceptional client-facing communication skills, and thrive in an environment that values innovation and collaboration. You will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, working closely with our clients to deliver impactful solutions. Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex full-stack applications using Java and Angular, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and IT standards. Collaborate directly with external clients, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions. Act as a technical expert and mentor, providing guidance and support to junior developers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning. Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, optimize application performance, and ensure high availability and scalability of our systems. Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Provide advanced production support, including troubleshooting complex issues and participating in oncall rotations as needed. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project status to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including clients and senior management. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application within the IT ecosystem. Experiences Required 612 years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend technologies. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Extensive handson experience with Java development (e.g., Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Oracle). Strong ability to write /analyze stored procedures. Proven ability to interact directly with clients, gather requirements, and present technical solutions clearly and effectively. Strong understanding and experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Experience in the US Healthcare or Health Insurance industry. Skills Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including external clients. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence, guide, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
