Welding Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Welding Engineer to join our organization. The candidate should have strong knowledge of welding processes, WPS/PQR qualification, welding inspection, quality control, and fabrication activities related to pressure vessels / heat exchangers / heavy engineering equipment. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and qualification of WPS, PQR, and WPQ Monitoring welding activities as per approved procedures Coordination with production, quality, and inspection agencies Review of welding consumables and material traceability Handling customer/TPI inspections and documentation Ensuring compliance with ASME, AWS, and other applicable codes Troubleshooting welding-related issues on shop floor Desired Candidate Profile: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering Welding certifications preferred (CSWIP / IWE / AWS etc.) Experience in fabrication industry, preferably Heat Exchangers / Pressure Vessels Good knowledge of ASME Section IX and welding standards Strong communication and documentation skills
