About the role
Role Overview: At Ennovi, you will be part of a team that harnesses the power of electrification and AI to help industries innovate, operate smarter, and achieve sustainable growth. You will play a crucial role in creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions for various markets. Your mission will be to lead your markets and drive sustainable progress by developing high-performance, custom solutions that meet diverse technical needs and adapt to evolving market demands. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Product Manager, CAD/CAE team, Test & Validation, and Manufacturing personnel to develop/support new CCA applications. - Create design concepts and collaborate with the CAD team to generate detailed component/assembly models along with GD&T drawings. - Evaluate the CCA design with the CAE team to ensure it meets the product specifications, including simulations for Joule Heating/Ampacity, Fatigue life analysis, Modal analysis, and Thermal-stress analysis. - Lead internal team in conducting critical design reviews as necessary. - Drive product compliance testing activities, coordinate DVP&R, and DoE. - Participate in DFM/DFA review sections. - Lead cross-functional team in conducting DFMEA. - Support Manufacturing team with PPAP, product packaging design, and functional testing; review alternative manufacturing process proposals when needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering required, Master's degree preferred. - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in HV Battery Systems and/or Energy Storage Systems. - Proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, or NX software. - Solid understanding of FEA and CFD analysis. - Experience in DFMEA, GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up analysis. - Experience in metal stamping, plastic molding, and dielectric materials is a plus. - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. - High attention to detail is strongly preferred. - This role will require some travel.
