Job Description:
The Role
As the Manufacturing Engineer main objective will be the design , procurement, implementation, and validation of automation and capital equipment.
Develop new equipment, coordinate its design, purchase or construction, and implementation with emphasis on design of fixtures.
In this role you will

Identify, lead and support continuous improvement/new projects, developing detailed specifications, electrical drawings, implementation plans and other appropriate documentation.

Evaluate existing processes and implement new processes/automation techniques to improve product flow, part quality and first pass yields to reduce product cost and lead time. Create/revise part instructions and routings; train production and maintenance personnel on the use, set-up and trouble-shoot process.

Work with manufacturing team to attain 100% on-time shipping performance by eliminating quality issues, improving capacity on bottle-neck processes.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: Electrical or mechanical en gineer background is preferred.

Hands on Experience with designing and commissioning Industrial automation equipment.

Ability to work in a team environment while taking direct ownership of projects/tasks

Strong technical aptitude with a desire for hands on engineering work

Proficiency in SolidWorks /AutoCAD is preferred

Proficiency in PLC programing is preferred

Understanding of SPC controls and experience implementing SPC data collection is a plus

Experience with SQL, in specific MS-SQL. The ability to navigate, create and optimize databases for historical data storage and data mining is a plus .
