The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and development of HVAC systems for various projects. Develop detailed HVAC design plans, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and piping layouts. Site Assessments: Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary information for accurate design and planning. Technical Drawings and Specifications: Create and review technical drawings and specifications using CAD software. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into overall building design. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in HVAC design engineering. Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, TRACE). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and principles.
