Job Description: Leads, directs, and controls the operations of a plant/facility to achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall organization business plan. May be responsible for any of the following activities: manufacturing, materials/planning, quality control, supply chain and logistics, shipping/receiving, distribution, and facilities management. Typically has responsibility for multiple activities.
Job Requirements:
Engineering manager is responsible for supervising junior engineers, coordinating production engineering plans, and researching new procedures and products that they can use in future products, processes. Improving of process or developing a new product. Be able to approach production team tasks, it normally makes more sense to solve different types of problems, team work, work shops. Responsible for hiring and supervising employees, budgeting, and designing administrative procedures. Evaluate potential solutions to engineering problem for feasibility, manufacturability and cost. Ensure, that documentation is complete, accurate and conforms to industry standards and policies including GMP, EBS tools, TMP and control and improvement of OEE results, company strategy, KPI,s (+QDIP). Engineering position means to have an outsize multiplicative impact by helping build the frameworks, structures, and processes that foster an effective engineering organisation and maintenance skills. Development and to execute the Maintenance Strategy, including determination of maintenance approach, staffing levels, training program, metrics, deputy. Floor-level presence in working with technicians to get more involved with reliability and integrity of machinery. Provide strong leadership to foster continuous improvement and open communication. Reports to the plant manager, side manager Cooperates with the rest of the team
