Lead Java FullStack Software Engineer

As a Lead Java Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions aligned with the organization's technology strategy and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development process for Java-based applications using Spring Framework and Microservices - Implementing front-end solutions with React.js and managing multiple front-end (MFE) architectures - Handling database development tasks with PostgreSQL or Oracle and integrating them with application services - Overseeing application containerization and orchestrating deployments through Azure or similar cloud platforms - Designing and building robust back-end Microservices and REST APIs - Enhancing and maintaining the existing codebase to uphold high-quality standards - Conducting thorough unit testing and code reviews throughout the team - Enforcing coding best practices and participating in SCRUM ceremonies - Engaging in estimation and planning sessions for project timelines and deliverables - Providing mentorship to other developers and collaborating effectively with team members Your qualifications should include: - 8+ years of experience in Java, including Java 8, Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices - Proficiency in front-end technologies like React.js, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - Experience in deploying and managing applications on Azure or similar cloud platforms - Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and Restful web services - Background in unit testing and conducting code reviews - Competency in database technologies, preferably SQLServer - Showcase of implementing APIs and microservices architecture - Flexibility to participate in SCRUM ceremonies and other Agile planning sessions This job also involves knowledge of the financial services sector, especially in wealth management, and a background in PostgreSQL or Oracle database systems would be beneficial.
