Lead Software Engineer - .NET

As a Lead Software Engineer - .NET with AI, your primary responsibility will be to join our full-stack product development team and contribute towards building features and services for our travel platform. You will be utilizing agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery, modernize architectures, and ensure the privacy and security of our members' sensitive data. Collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver features and services for our travel platform on a full-stack product development team - Utilize agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in daily development workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality - Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before merging - Contribute to refactoring and modernizing existing services and architectures using cloud-native design patterns - Write clean, testable, peer-reviewed, and well-optimized code, whether authored manually or collaboratively with AI agents - Advocate for quality, durability, and technical debt reduction by collaborating with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Product Designers, and other key partners - Safeguard the privacy, security, and trust of our members' sensitive data throughout implementations, in partnership with Risk and Security teams - Contribute to meeting backend and system SLOs as part of the broader engineering team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience - 10+ years in software development - 7+ years of full-stack development experience building web applications and services - 1+ year of hands-on experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in professional development workflows - Background in building modern web applications, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture and patterns - Proficiency in two or more of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET - Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular - Expertise in building and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for code generation and development workflows - Understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and how it enables AI agents to interact with external tools and data sources - Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LangChain, along with graph-based data technologies (GraphRAG, GraphDB) - Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools - Excellent communication skills, strong working relationships, and a high degree of team collaboration Nice to have: - Familiarity with real-time streaming or distributed messaging platforms such as Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ - Experience with modern project management and collaboration tools (Jira, ADO, GitHub Projects, or similar) - Background in Agile software delivery (iterative planning and delivery) - Strong curiosity about emerging AI development tools and a desire to stay current with the evolving agentic coding landscape As a Lead Software Engineer - .NET with AI, your primary responsibility will be to join our full-stack product development team and contribute towards building features and services for our travel platform.
