Product Manager - Data Platforms

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to drive innovation and deliver data-driven digital solutions that provide actionable client insights and opportunities to Financial Advisors. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a strategic data platform and insights ecosystem, with a strong focus on data product ownership and end-to-end delivery. You'll be part of a Field Solutions Team within the Data & Analytics Foundational Platforms group, operating with an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver impactful digital and data innovations that drive value across the Wealth Management business. Responsibilities Own and drive the development and enhancement of the data platform, insights application, and Insights API, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality within Financial Advisors' workflows Serve as the primary interface with Data Engineering (Data Mesh) and API teams, ensuring that data requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered accurately Partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data consumers to scope new data ingestion and transformation needs, managing a pipeline of upcoming requirements Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, technical specifications, and design artifacts for engineering teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, UI/UX, Data Science, Analytics, Marketing, Risk and Compliance, and other product teams Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, data engineering, and API teams to resolve data-related questions and ensure alignment across dependencies Develop deep expertise in the underlying data landscape (e.g., enterprise data warehouses) and Insights API to proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies Own data validation and testing processes, ensuring delivered datasets meet quality standards and align with platform requirements Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards related to client data, privacy, and ethical data usage Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred 10-15 years of general IT experience, including 5+ years in product ownership, data product management, or a related role, preferably within financial services Background in working with data engineering teams and managing data-driven products or platforms Understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and data platforms (e.g., SQL, ETL/ELT concepts) Capability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables for engineering teams Showcase of an entrepreneurial and growth-driven mindset with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in driving a product across its lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, adoption, and continuous enhancement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively Strong technical acumen, comfortable engaging with engineers and understanding system architecture and data dependencies Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to have Familiarity with client insights platforms or wealth management tools Expertise in distributed data architectures Hands-on data analysis skills (e.g., SQL) Qualifications in building data-driven or AI-enabled products and platforms We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.) EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
