Senior Data Modeler

As a Senior Data Modeler at our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and evolving the data architecture. Your responsibilities will include: - Establishing, maintaining, and evolving information architecture best practices, guidelines, and principles in alignment with the Client's Data Strategy team - Driving data modeling initiatives and supporting the architecture, design, and development of data systems - Developing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models using established data modeling guidelines - Ensuring data models align with relevant industry standards and adhere to best practices - Capturing and maintaining metadata within the enterprise data catalog solution - Evaluating data models in commercially available applications prior to procurement - Educating and mentoring team members and the broader data community on data strategy directives, principles, and standards - Ensuring adherence to Security and Compliance policies within the scope of Enterprise Information Architecture - Collaborating with business partners, IT teams, architecture teams, and contractors to design data models that meet requirements - Defining and promoting compliance with best practices, conducting data design reviews throughout the development lifecycle Qualifications required for this role include: - University degree equivalent to BS/MS in Computer or Life Sciences - 5+ years of experience, including a focus on Business Analysis involving business process reengineering, user requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and change management - Practical experience with Data Analytics, SQL, and DWBI tools - Strong expertise in Data Modeling, including the ability to create Erwin diagrams - Proficiency in communication, with excellent verbal and written English skills - 2+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably in the commercial IT function - Background in Agile methodologies and team coordination efforts - Familiarity with Collibra Join our team and contribute to shaping our organizations data architecture with your expertise and experience in data modeling.
