Technical Agile Scrum Business Analyst

As a Technical Business Analyst, your role will involve gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for migrating workloads from Azure Synapse to Databricks. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define migration workflows, data transformation logic, and technical specifications. Supporting the design and validation of data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integration processes will be a key responsibility. Additionally, conducting detailed data analysis and validation using SQL to ensure accuracy and quality of migrated datasets will be essential. You will create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation. Coordinating between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on requirements, scope, and delivery timelines is crucial. You will also assist in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues throughout the migration lifecycle. Tracking project progress, identifying risks, and providing timely updates to stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical BA in data-driven environments - Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and Databricks in analytics or migration contexts - Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries, data analysis, and validation - Solid background in data modeling, metadata management, and data warehousing concepts - Experience with cloud migration projects, preferably on Azure - Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional, and agile environments.
