Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst at Episode Six, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing security of critical assets in a 24/7 environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining critical security infrastructure technologies, such as NIDS/HIDS, IPS, and vulnerability scanning - Performing routine security log reviews for all environments, including production, DR, development, and corporate - Conducting policy compliance reviews of critical infrastructure, including account management, patching, firewall rules, etc. - Collaborating with internal users, clients, and auditors as needed - Participating in infrastructure design reviews and change management processes - Assisting in maintaining security documentation, including policies, procedures, and configuration standards - Conducting user training - Occasionally being available for out-of-hours work To be successful in this role, you must have: Mandatory: - 3+ years of experience with a primary focus in Information Security - Formal security certification or working towards certification - Good understanding of security capabilities in Linux, Windows, and AWS Cloud Computing environments - Good understanding of network security tools such as firewalls and NIDS Desirable: - Experience working in Hybrid Cloud environments - Previous experience with PCI DSS compliant environments At Episode Six, we value diversity, respect, inclusivity, and support for each team member.
