Business / Technical Analyst – Project-Focused Role Engagement Description This role is responsible for performing a variety of technology-related functions, including business analysis, systems analysis, application development support, and process improvement initiatives. The individual will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to identify, document, and communicate system and process enhancements that improve operational performance. Key responsibilities include: Analyzing business and system requirements to support technology initiatives. Identifying and recommending technical process improvements. Designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions. Supporting one or more low- to moderately complex business processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives. Contributing expertise in business operations, data management, and process optimization. Top 3 Required Skills & Experience 1. Project Management Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices. Experience with: Project plan analysis Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) Risk, issue, and decision management Meeting coordination and scheduling Documentation of meeting notes and action items Dependency tracking, milestone management, and critical path analysis 2. Data Architecture & Data Management Knowledge of data architecture and data management principles, including: Data governance Data modeling Data quality management Reporting structures Information lifecycle management Ability to organize, maintain, and leverage data assets to support business objectives and decision-making. 3. Business Analysis Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, including: Requirements gathering and documentation Process mapping Stakeholder engagement Root cause analysis Business process improvement Functional and business requirements documentation Translating business needs into actionable solutions Required Skills & Experience Healthcare industry experience, specifically with government-regulated products (Medicare, Medicaid). Strategic narrative development. Data architecture and data management. Business analysis. Financial, business, and healthcare acumen. Process improvement and documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing projects. Knowledge of: System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Process design and re-engineering Organizational transformation methodologies Six Sigma CMMI ITIL Computer programming languages Preferred Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of project management experience . Project management certification or training ( CAPM or PMP preferred). Minimum 3 years of healthcare, insurance, or related industry experience . Working knowledge of: Smartsheet AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and SecureGPT Education & Certifications Education Bachelor’s Degree preferred in: Business Public Health Data Analytics Related field Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred. CAPM (Certified associate in project management) preferred. Additional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
