Front End Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer - Front End at Equifax, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects while collaborating with a talented team of engineers. Your role involves performing general application development activities, contributing to project planning, resolving performance issues, and ensuring operational excellence, security, and scalability of high scale applications. You will also participate in technology roadmap discussions, triage product or system issues, and lead Sprint deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general application development activities such as unit testing, code deployment, and technical documentation - Contribute to unfamiliar code written by team members and diagnose/resolve performance issues - Participate in project planning, use case specifications, test plans, and code/process documentation - Develop high scale applications from the backend to UI layer, focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability - Apply modern software development practices like serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code - Integrate systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset - Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to align with business requirements - Work in a tight-knit engineering team following agile software development practices - Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve by analyzing sources of issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 2+ years of experience in software design with strong skills in Angular and Typescript - 2+ years of experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle - 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and frontend/web development - 2+ years of experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques - 2+ years of experience with Cloud technology, specifically AWS Additional Company Details: Equifax offers a hybrid work setting, comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, attractive paid time off, and organizational growth potential through an online learning platform with guided career tracks.
