Role Overview: As an Analyst at Equifax, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic role that involves solving business problems and complex questions with data. You will be responsible for leveraging statistical techniques, visualization tools, and segmentation/modelling techniques to develop scalable insights across multiple credit-related topics. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal partners and clients to support the development of proprietary analytical products and effectively communicating analytical results to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience, demonstrate creativity and inquisitiveness, and have a proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where understanding the "why" and "so what" is critical. Key Responsibilities: - Work in the cloud environment to develop scalable insights using statistical techniques and visualization tools - Collaborate with internal partners and clients to support the development of proprietary analytical products - Communicate analytical results and findings to key stakeholders using strong data visualizations and business language - Ensure thorough quality control of all analytical output - Utilize expertise in R, Python, SAS, or SQL in a large data environment - Design and build analytical solutions to solve real-world problems - Deliver business insights and work with stakeholders to improve business outcomes - Utilize creativity and idea generation to discover solutions hidden in large data sets - Experience working with Credit Bureau data and in the consumer/commercial credit or fraud industry - Background in financial services, telecommunications, or utilities is favorable - Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik is an asset Qualifications Required: - 3 years of analytics/data science experience - Expert knowledge of R, Python, SAS, or SQL in a large data environment - 2 years of experience designing and building analytical solutions - Demonstrable experience in delivering business insights - Solid communication/presentation skills - Creativity and idea generation - Background in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics (Bachelors or advanced degree essential) - Masters level degree in a business-related field/MBA preferred Company Details: Equifax powers the future of individuals and organizations globally by transforming data into insights.
