As a Software Engineer or Technical/Solution Architect at Equifax, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of meaningful projects by demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud-native, distributed microservices-based architectures across complex, integrated systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering solutions for complex business problems through software standard SDLC and robust end-to-end architectural design. - Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including product, business, and sales partners. - Demonstrating excellent communication skills by simplifying complex problems and diving deeper when needed. - Leading and technically guiding strong technical solutions that scale. - Mentoring, coaching, and developing junior and senior software, quality, and reliability engineers. - Defining, maintaining, and reporting SLA, SLO, SLIs meeting EFX engineering standards in partnership with product, engineering, and architecture teams. - Collaborating with architects, SRE leads, and other technical leadership on strategic technical direction, guidelines, and best practices. - Creating and delivering technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of software engineering and system architecture experience. - Proficiency in mainstream Java, Angular, SpringBoot, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL. - Experience with Cloud technology such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. - Knowledge in designing and developing cloud-native solutions and microservices. - Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code concepts, and modern AI developer tooling. Additionally, the following skills and experiences could set you apart: - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Leadership qualities and cross-system architectural vision. - Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities. - Experience with designing and developing big data processing solutions and UI development. - Proficiency in backend technologies, source code control management systems, and build tools. - Familiarity with Agile environments, relational databases, Atlassian tooling, modern JDK, and automated testing.
